*LBN-INVESTIGATES: The United States has now gone a record 10 straight years without 3 percent growth in real Gross Domestic Product. The calculation for GDP for each year going back to 1929 and it has calculated the inflation-adjusted annual change in GDP (in constant 2009 dollars) from 1930 forward. In the 85 years the annual change in real GDP there is only one ten-year stretch—2006 through 2015—when the annual growth in real GDP never hit 3 percent. During the last ten years, real annual growth in GDP peaked in 2006 at 2.7 percent. It has never been that high again.

*Rubio Mocks Trump’s Face, Hair, and Tan

Republican presidential hopeful Marco Rubio hit frontrunnerDonald Trump hard on Saturday, saying, “Donald Trump likes to sue people; he should sue whoever did that to his face.” Rubio also mocked Trump’s “spray tan,” mistyped tweets, and hair. “He’s learning how to spell, I guess. But he’s flying around on Hair Force One and tweeting,” Rubio said.

In a letter to Berkshire Hathaway shareholders, businessmanWarren Buffett said that presidential candidates who hype economic woes are “dead wrong.” “It’s an election year, and candidates can’t stop speaking about our country’s problems (which, of course, only they can solve),” Buffett wrote. Because of this outlook, he wrote, many believe that their children’s future is worse off. “That view is dead wrong: The babies being born in America today are the luckiest crop in history,” Buffett said.

*SERIOUSLY? – Trump Won’t Denounce KKK Support
When asked by CNN’s Jake Tapper on Sunday about David Duke and the KKK supporting his candidacy, Donald Trumppassed on refuting them. “I don’t know anything about what you’re even talking about with white supremacy or white supremacists,” he said. “So I don’t know. I don’t know — did he endorse me, or what’s going on? Because I know nothing about David Duke; I know nothing about white supremacists.” When Tapper said he was specifically talking about the KKK, Trump continued saying, “I have to look at the group. I mean, I don’t know what group you’re talking about.” He then declared, “You wouldn’t want me to condemn a group that I know nothing about. I’d have to look. If you would send me a list of the groups, I will do research on them and certainly I would disavow if I thought there was something wrong. You may have groups in there that are totally fine — it would be very unfair. So give me a list of the groups and I’ll let you know.”

*DOMINO – Hillary Clinton Wins South Carolina
The South Carolina Democratic Primary has been called forHillary Clinton. According to early surveys, roughly eight in ten black voters went for Clinton. The win also reverses her 2008 primary loss in the state to Barack Obama and gives her two wins in a row as the candidates head in to Super Tuesday. According to exit polls conducted by the AP, 6 in 10 voters in Saturday’s South Carolina primary were black and about “7 in 10 said they wanted the next president to continue Obama’s policies, and only about 20 percent wanted a more liberal course of action.”

*Stephen Curry Breaks Record for 3’s

On Saturday night Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors broke the record for number of three-pointers in the regular season — and there are still 24 games left. Curry in fact broke his own record of 286, which he set last season. In addition, Curry tied the record for number of three-pointers made in a single game, making 12 of his 16 attempted three-pointers.
