*China’s ‘Jack the Ripper’ Arrested:

Police have arrested a man they believe to be the long-sought murderer dubbed “China’s Jack the Ripper,” for the grisly crimes that are reminiscent of the serial killer in Victorian London who was never caught. Gao Chengyong is accused of raping, killing, and mutilating 11 girls and women over 14 years. The youngest victim was 8 years old. Gao, according to police, cut off the victims’ hands, ears, and breasts. Authorities said test determined the 52-year-old native of western China matched DNA found at the scenes of the killings. He was apprehended in a grocery shop he operates, local news reported Monday. He has allegedly confessed to the crimes. Police said Gao was able to elude capture because he lived in such a small village that he was never fingerprinted for an ID card.

*Mylan to Make Generic Version of EpiPen:

The pharmaceutical company that makes the expensive, life-saving EpiPen—an auto-injector that comes preloaded with anaphylaxis treatment—will launch a generic version of the product in the wake of intense criticism over recent price hikes.Manufacturer Mylan said early Monday that a new generic will cost $300 for a two-pack, which is about half the regular version’s market price. It will be available within the next several weeks. Mylan CEO Heather Bresch called her company’s move “an extraordinary commercial response” to patient anger and frustration over the rising cost of EpiPen. Last week, the drug maker had offered discounts on the shots for lower-income patients and triggered further anger. The company was widely criticized by parents and politicians, including Hillary Clinton, following the latest price rises, which amounted to more than 400 percent over the past 10 years.

*Renowned Dentist, Dr. Jay Grossman Argues Against Erroneous Claims By The Government On Flossing:
Dr. Jay Grossman,
http://www.drjaydds.com/, disputes reports made on August 2, 2016 by the Associated Press on the removal of flossing by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Service removal as a recommended practice. The removal from this year’s dietary guidelines comes after the government admits research has not been extensive or reliable enough to deem flossing “effective.”
Dr. Grossman is a Clinical Professor of Dental Medicine at Western University College of Dental Medicine, as well as a lecturer for 21 years at UCLA College of Dentistry. With a mission to provide the finest dental care available using state-of-the-art technology, he claims that the simple act of flossing is in fact effective and beneficial towards oral health.
According to the U.S. Healthy department, “flossing has no proven benefits.” Dr. Grossman argues that this comment is “not only false, it is dangerous and detrimental to the population.” Dr. Grossman believes if people trust the new government guidelines, there will be an increase in gum disease, cavities, and halitosis.
Claims that brushing your teeth are enough are simply not true, according to Dr. Grossman. “A tooth brush removes food and cleans most of the surface area of your tooth, however the only way to remove material between your teeth, is with floss.” Dr. Grossman argues that the effectiveness of flossing can clearly be seen when pieces of food are removed from in between teeth. According to the acclaimed dentist, “if you don’t floss, that food will stay in your mouth, decay and cause tooth and gum damage.”
Considering that only 50% of Americans floss daily, Dr. Grossman warns everyone not to fall into this category due to the, “erroneous and false reports.”
“Floss, it is imperative for your dental health,” states Dr. Grossman.

He should be immediately fired by San Francisco and permanently banned from American professional sports. Time to set examples of anti Americanism within our borders.

*LBN-COMMENTARY by Susan Estrich (Attorney, columnist): I remember, nearly 30 years ago, visiting Palestinian refugee camps where little children had cartoon coloring books in which the Jews were always the villains and thieves. “What happens to those children when they grow up?” I wondered then. I fear that we all know the answer.

Charlie Sheen may need more help with financial management than anger management. The former “Two and a Half Men” star, 50, has cut his child support payments to ex-wives
Denise Richards and
Brooke Mueller in half. The women each previously received $55,000 per month from Sheen, but are now pocketing approximately $25,000. Sources told the site that Mueller, 39, and Richards, 45, agreed to a deal because if they’d actually gone to court, they’d possibly only be granted $10,000 each per month, and that Sheen agreed to grant real estate to both his ex-wives in the settlement — as well as to appear on a reality show with Richards.
